This song is about a time of my life when more or less all I could do was put one foot in front of the other. Feeling spectral. It's also the first song in a long time where the cello was a really important part of the composition process. I've played that instrument since I was a child but it rarely makes my Night Works recordings - so far. I produced it with James Greenwood. I'm really proud of it.
